The Absent

Once had;

Now a childhood-like memory,

of Innocence;

Silly and Touching;

Endearing in another,

Unforgivable in me.

When it came to that,

I chose cowardice over stupidity,

and am now left with

an absent passion.

Meteors fell

and Fires burned!!"

Hearts kicked and cried,

Minds strengthened,

Souls were empowered!!"

Did I not notice?

How would I know?

I was never there.
